For retired priests, Jubilee Home ‘feels like home’

After the erection of the diocese of Kottapuram, there was no home for retired priests of the Diocese. Bishop Dr. Francis Kallarakkal took a special interest to build a home for retired priests. A land was purchased at Pallithazham, near North Paravur and the foundation stone was blessed and laid on December 03, 1999. The construction of the building was completed and the name “Jubilee Home” was given (Since it was completed in the Jubilee Year 2000). Thus the Priests Home (Jubilee Home) for the retired priests was blessed by Bp Dr. Francis Kallarakkal on 4th October 2000, in the Great Jubilee Year. Later some renovation was made and some rooms were added to the old building.
